A return to purpose...
Designing and creating furniture and other items for the home really is my thing. Since studying design history and furniture design at university back in 2007, my obsession with modernist and mid-century design has been hard to contain. I take inspiration from a whole army of respected and pioneering designers, from the Bauhaus movement at the start of the twentieth century, to Eames, Girard and Robin and Lucienne Day, all movers and shakers in Mid-centruty design. Take these elements, combine them with contemporary influences and you get hausform's design aesthetic.
